Clomiphene Citrate

Clomiphene citrate is often used to help increase the release of hormones for someone during ovulation. It is often a type of therapy that is used for those that are struggling to conceive when there aren’t any other indicators of situations that can be addressed with it. This type of therapy has to be closely monitored by someone that is a professional in the area of fertility.

The cycle of therapy is usually for 5 days that are early in the menstrual cycle for a period of up to 6 months. However, it can take several months to find the right dose for the ovulation to be successfully stimulated through such efforts. Once that is found then a woman will be given the clomiphene citrate for at least the following three months to give her the very best chance of conceiving. After 6 such cycles then the use of this therapy is usually terminated and deemed not going to work for that particular woman.

Clomiphene citrate is also commonly used as an estrogen receptor for those that use steroids. This is often referred to as Clomid. Women that use this product to lose weight and to reduce fat can experience facial hair and a voice that becomes deeper. This is due to the higher dose than what a woman will be taking for fertility concerns.

The use of clomiphene citrate by males for athletics and for bodybuilding continues to be a very common practice. They use it to help them keep their hormone levels as balanced as possible during a cycle. It is used when the bodybuilder has low testosterone levels and is intended to bring them back up. How much of it they will take and how long they will take it depends on what is in their stack. It also depends on how long that cycle is going to be. Sometimes the use of clomiphene citrate continues for several weeks after the use of all the other steroids in the cycle has been discontinued.

It is illegal to use clomiphene citrate with the exception of a doctor prescribing it for medical reasons. However, it is very possible to be able to buy it out there on the market for the use of bodybuilding and athletics. It is sold commonly on the internet and it is also sold by local entities as a way to supply such products to those that want them. You should look into the laws where you live and then make up your own mind if you want to pursue the purchase of it or not.

Clomiphene citrate does offer quite a bit of value but it also has some side effects. Some of them for females have been mentioned above. For males they may find that they have more aggression. They may develop and enlarged prostate that is painful and makes it very hard to urinate normally. The other factor is that they may develop breasts that grow with tissue like those of females. Both genders may experience high levels of outbreaks with acne. The higher the dose of clomiphene citrate the more likely it is that someone will have side effects.
